Hadith is integral to the Qur’an, since they are inseparably linked to each other. It is impossible to understand the Qur’an without reference to Hadith. The Qur’an is the message, and the Hadith is the explanation of the message by the Messenger himself.
Islam has two primary sources. First is the Qurʾān which is the direct word of All Mighty Allah inspired to the Rasolullah Sallā Llāhu Aalayhī Wa-ʾālihī Wa-Sallam. The second source is the Rasolullah Sallā Llāhu Aalayhī Wa-ʾālihī Wa-Sallam teachings. These teachings include his words, actions, and things he approved of. The Prophet’s Rasolullah Sallā Llāhu Aalayhī Wa-ʾālihī Wa-Sallam teachings are called Sunna. The Sunna is found in texts called ḥadīth. A ḥadīth is a statement of the Rasolullah Sallā Llāhu Aalayhī Wa-ʾālihī Wa-Sallam which was narrated by his companions and subsequently narrated to the next generation until these sayings were compiled in ḥadīth collections. We can teach the selection of Hadith related to our daily life matters.
